Yyunarn — Hand-Crochet Studio from Korea

Part of the jinjja.shop maker guides — one page for each independent Korean brand on the marketplace. Last updated 7 October 2026.

What is Yyunarn?

Yyunarn is a hand-crochet studio in Korea. Every piece is crocheted by hand by Yun, the maker behind the brand. The name joins Yun and yarn — where Yun meets yarn.

The range covers bags in net, raffia, leather cord and fabric yarn; hats and bonnets in openwork crochet; hair and waist accessories; and a line of tops and wraps designed as styling layers worn over swimwear, a bra top, singlet or tee.

How is Yyunarn made?

Each piece is crocheted by hand by Yun. Materials vary across the range: combed cotton yarn, heavy textured yarn, raffia, eco-leather cord, natural cowhide leather cord from India, and fabric yarn cut from paisley cloth. Some pieces use handmade fabric-covered buttons; others are finished with tassels, natural stone details or adjustable leather strings. Because each item is made by hand, small variations in tension and texture are part of the work.

Are the tops stand-alone pieces?

No. The tops and wraps in the Yyunarn range — including the flower bustier, lace halter cover-up, cowl halter layered top, voile shawl, tassel wrap and wall skirt — are designed as styling layers. They are worn over swimwear, a bra top, singlet or tee, not on their own.
