Roséel — the Korean skincare brand fermented 180 days in a blue jar

Part of the jinjja.shop maker guides — one page for each independent Korean brand on the marketplace. Last updated 17 September 2026.

What is Roséel?

Roséel (also written Rosee & El, Korean 로지앤엘) is an independent Korean skincare brand. Its range is built around a single base: a botanical extract fermented for 180 days in blue earthenware jars. The brand describes the idea in its own words as “the blue jar sent by nature.”

It is not one of the large K-beauty houses stocked by international chains. It is a small, owner-run Korean company, and in Australia its products are sold through jinjja.shop.

Who makes Roséel, and where?

Roséel is made by 주식회사 은미 (EUNMI Co., Ltd.), whose chief executive is 최은미 (Choi Eun-mi). The company is based in Gangneung, Gangwon Province, on South Korea’s east coast. Its Korean business registration number is 182-86-02890.

How is it made?

The brand’s account of its own process, from its Korean site and its own social posts:

  • A 180-day natural ferment. The base is aged for roughly six months rather than produced in a single run.
  • Blue earthenware jars. The ferment takes place in traditional Korean glazed jars, not steel tanks.
  • Nine Korean medicinal botanicals, aged together into one complex — among them goji berry, honeysuckle, liquorice, angelica, gardenia and purslane.
  • Jeju mugwort (비쑥) is the hero plant — a variety that grows on Jeju Island against the coastal sea wind.

The brand states that the resulting fermented complex is patented in Korea.

What does Roséel make?

Six products are available in Australia. Sizes and Australian prices:

  • RE+ Serum — 45 ml, A$49.99. With vegan, plant-derived PDRN and low-molecular hyaluronic acid.
  • RE+ Cream — 55 ml, A$49.99. A five-ceramide complex; rich, but it does not sit heavy.
  • RE+ Eye Cream — 20 g, A$55.00. Same fermented base, five ceramides.
  • RE+ Foaming Cleanser — 100 ml, A$24.99. Weakly acidic, working up to a dense micro-foam.

A note on the name

On jinjja.shop the brand is always Roséel. You may also see Rosee & El or the Korean 로지앤엘 — these are the same brand and the same maker in Gangneung.
