Horcen — kangaroo-care shirts made in Korea
Part of the jinjja.shop maker guides — one page for each independent Korean brand on the marketplace. Last updated 7 October 2026.
What is Horcen?
Horcen is an independent Korean brand that makes the Hug-Me range of kangaroo-care garments. Each piece has a soft mesh pouch built into the front so a baby can rest against the wearer’s chest while both hands remain free. The design was created by a father after the birth of his own newborn.
The range currently includes two styles: the Hug-Me T-Shirt and the Hug-Me Hoodie Set. Both carry a Korean KC safety certificate (no. CB015H0440-26001). Fabric, cutting and sewing are all done in Korea.
How is Horcen made?
Both Hug-Me garments are produced entirely in Korea. The T-Shirt body is a blend of 73% polyester, 22% cotton and 5% spandex, giving a soft-touch, high-stretch finish. The Hoodie Set body uses 60% cotton and 40% polyester. In both styles, the built-in front pouch is 100% polyester mesh. Fabric selection, cutting and sewing all take place in Korea, and the finished products carry the Korean KC safety certificate.
What sizes are available, and how do I use it safely?
Both styles come in three sizes: M, L and XL, using Korean sizing references of M = 100, L = 105 and XL = 110. Flat measurements in centimetres are listed on each product page; allow 1–2 cm variance. For safe and correct use of the pouch, always follow the instructions for use supplied with your Horcen garment.
