Korean herbal medicine was kept in a yakjang — a chest of small square drawers, each holding a different root, bark or dried flower. This is that chest, made small enough to live on your fridge door.
What it’s for
Nine drawers, one for each day’s tablets or supplements. Fill them on Sunday and you can see at a glance what you have and haven’t taken, without a plastic pill organiser sitting on the bench.
